The astonishing richness of the area bounded by the Waihe'e, Waiehu,Wailuku ('Iao} and Waikapu Streams on Maui's West side is biological, cultural, spiritual, and altogether human. I am forever grateful to the dedicated individuals who give of their time and mana daily. I've learned so much. Let's start with Scott Fisher, project manager, for the Waihe'e Coastal Dunes and Wetlands Refuge, a part of the Maui Coastal Land Trust.
