After months of apprehension and the final merging of Hawai'i's two pre-eminent art museums, Stephan Jost blew into town this past May to head the combined institution. Originally from Michigan, Jost headed the Mills College Museum, then for 5 years, the Shelburne Museum in Vermont before coming to Honolulu with his partner and brand new baby girl, Monique.
