Passion And Our Shared Environment

July 26, 2012

Here, you'll find three engaging scientists involved in the 20th Annual Hawai'i Conservation Conference sponsored by the Hawai'i Conservation Alliance.  First up, Bill Raynor, Division Director for the Indo-Pacific Division of the Nature Conservancy.  He's an agroforester who worked on projects in Hawai'i back when we first started considering alternatives to sugar and pineapple.  He's spent 25 years in Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia.  Next up is Alan Holt, Radford grad, he helped establish the Nature Conservancy's work in Hawai'i.  Now he's Environment Program Director for the Margaret Cargill Foundation.  The new Director of the Hawai'i Conservation Alliance, Lihla Noori, wraps up, explaining their critical work and describing fascinating possibilities.  File runs 38 minutes.
